This page explains how to delete your Salon POS account and exactly what happens to your salon's data when you do. You do not need to install the app to make the request.
On the owner’s Android app, open Settings → Your data → Delete account. Sign in to the account you want to remove, read what will be deleted, and follow the confirmation steps. Deletion affects the cloud account; it does not erase the business records already stored on the phone.
On updated iOS versions that include cloud account deletion, open More → Cloud & devices → Delete cloud account while signed in as the salon owner. Follow the confirmation steps. If your version does not show this option, use the request method below.
Send a message from the email address your Salon POS account uses, so we can tell it is really you:
Or write to support@alfasystemscv.com with the subject “Delete my Salon POS account”. Include the email address on the account and, if you know it, the salon name. You do not need the app installed, and there is nothing to pay.
Salon POS is used by whole salons, so one person's records are usually tangled up with other people's. A salon's sales are the business's books, and its staff have their own work and pay history. Deleting one person must not quietly destroy either. So:
| What | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your sign-in Email address, Google or Apple sign-in connection, sessions |
Deleted. You can no longer sign in, on any device. |
| Your membership and personal details Your name, your contact details, your role in the salon |
Deleted, and your enrolled devices lose cloud access. If the salon carries on without you, your name stays on your past work in the salon's staff records — your account is unlinked from it rather than erased from the business's books. |
| The salon's records Sales, customers, appointments, stock, staff history |
If another owner remains: kept, and the salon carries on without you. If you were the last owner: deleted with your account. See below before confirming. |
| Data on the phone itself | Not touched. The till keeps working offline with whatever is already on the device — see below. |
| Limited security records Invitation and access audit entries |
May be kept where needed for security, disputes, or a legal obligation. |
| A public directory listing If your salon appears in our salon directory |
Kept, and unlinked from your account. That listing is a public business entry — name, address and contact details — rather than your till data. Ask us if you want it removed too. |
Check whether another owner will remain. Staff access alone does not make someone a salon owner. If no other owner remains, deleting your account deletes the salon's cloud data with it — customers, appointments, sales, stock, staff records, and settings. That cannot be undone.
Before you request deletion, do whichever of these you need:
We will tell you when it is done. If we cannot verify that the request came from the account holder, we will say so rather than delete someone else's salon.
You do not have to delete your account to stop working somewhere. Someone at the salon with permission to manage staff can remove you from the staff list, which stops you signing in there. Your past sales and commission records stay with the salon, and your PIN is retired for good rather than reused.
Revoking a linked device is a separate action, and only the salon's owner can do it. It disconnects one phone; on its own it does not remove you from the staff list. Neither action touches your own account, which stays yours.
A customer who booked with a salon does not need to delete a salon owner’s account to stop WhatsApp messages. Reply STOP to stop automated messages, STOP OFFERS to stop offers, or ask the salon to withdraw messaging permission. To correct or delete a booking or customer record, contact that salon or our support address. Stopping messages does not automatically erase appointment records, and a limited opt-out record may be needed to prevent further messages.
